Sandra was a trailblazing businesswoman and a dedicated philanthropist; a predominantly self-educated artist and photographer; as well as an adventurous global traveler. Born and raised in Manhattan, Sandra obtained her real estate license in 1970. She embarked on her journey with a $5,000 bank loan co-signed by her brother, and at that time, she was one of only three women who owned their own real estate firms.
The company made its mark in the competitive New York real estate industry when, under Sandra's direction, it became the first property management company to develop a non-eviction plan protecting renters during the apartment to co-op conversion project. From there, Sandra and her team began converting buildings in New York City, Queens and Long Island.
